Job summary

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a 1st Line IT Support professional to deliver exceptional first-line assistance to 6,000+ users. The role, based at Basingstoke Hospital, will involve resolving issues remotely or in person, maintaining SLA/OLA targets, and continuous skills development within a fast-changing IT environment.

You will work as part of a nine-person team, supported by IT teams for escalations, with a focus on customer service, accuracy, and calm problem-solving

Qualifications

• Experience of using a Helpdesk/Service Desk and Remote Control Support Tools.
• Good knowledge of MS Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, PC/Laptop & Printer Hardware and MS Office / M365.

Responsibilities

• Take a variety of support calls and resolve issues remotely or in person.
• Provide 1st line IT support for Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust users.
• Maintain Service Levels and work within ITIL framework.
• Liaise with third party suppliers when required.
