Job summary

University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (279) is seeking an Application Support Technician to maintain and support a range of clinical and administrative IT systems across sites, including Careflow and patient related applications. The role involves configuration, incident resolution and user support.

Based at Chichester or Worthing with occasional travel, you will ensure system integrity, perform regular checks, assist with deployments, and deliver timely 1st/2nd line support while

Qualifications

• Educated to Diploma/HNC or equivalent.
• Experience with patient IT systems.
• Experience training users by phone and in person.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of users.
• Identify errors in complex reports and plan corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support for all listed systems.
• Assist testing, configuration and training for new releases.
• Manage and distribute Smartcards following NHS guidelines.
• Organise workload daily and escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with IT Technical Support, System Suppliers and Operations Teams.
