ENGIE UK is seeking a detail-driven Sales Ledger Assistant on a fixed-term contract to the end of October 2027. The role is based in Leeds with hybrid working options from our office and remote days.

You will record AR transactions, reconcile the ledger daily, and support monthly closes and audits. Strong numerical ability, communication skills, and a degree are required; Junifer knowledge is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in accounts receivable within a large organisation.
• Knowledge of Direct Debit scheme operations and rules.
• Strong numerical ability and analytical skills; proficient with MS Office.

Aufgaben

• Record all accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time (invoices, credit notes, payments, refunds).
• Clear customer cash transactions through the general ledger daily for clean reconciliations.
• Allocate accounts receivable transactions per policy and reduce unallocated balances through proactive communication.
• Execute Direct Debit collections and refunds in a timely, controlled manner.
• Support monthly closes, forecasting activities, and external audit requests.
• Collaborate with Credit Control, Account Managers, and Internal Audit to resolve queries.
• Adhere to internal risk frameworks and contribute to system changes and process improvements.
