Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Banking Manager to lead AP, P2P and banking activities from our Group Office with hybrid working (3 days in office) and occasional travel. The role focuses on efficient, accurate processes, KPI-driven performance and continuous improvement across finance.

You will manage workflows, payments, reporting, and automation initiatives. You’ll drive month-end activities, collaborate with operational teams, and develop the finance function

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Accounts Payable, Purchase to Pay, banking or a similar finance environment.
• Experience leading or managing teams.
• Strong experience with ERP systems and improving finance processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data and reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across functions.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage tight deadlines (month-end).
• Experience in cash management, reconciliations and financial reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Accounts Payable and Purchase to Pay processes.
• Oversee invoice processing, approvals and timely payments.
• Manage cash management, reconciliations and reporting.
• Drive process improvement, automation and standardisation across the function.
• Set and monitor KPIs; drive month-end site reviews and controls.
• Develop and lead the Finance team, allocating resources around deadlines.
