Job summary

Witherslack Group seeks an experienced Accounts Payable & Banking Manager to oversee AP, Purchase to Pay and banking across the group. Hybrid role based at Group Office in Lupton with 3 days in the office, occasional travel alongside operational colleagues.

You will drive end-to-end processes, manage cash, and lead the Workday PO system, delivering accurate reporting and month-end activities while coaching the finance team.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Accounts Payable, Purchase to Pay, banking or similar finance environment with team leadership.
• Strong experience with ERP systems; improving finance processes.
• Proven track record of driving process improvement, automation and standardisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Accounts Payable and Purchase to Pay processes, oversee invoice processing and approvals.
• Manage cash flow, banking, reconciliations and reporting (AP ageing, accruals, forecasts).
• Establish KPIs and monitor performance to drive improvements and reduce risks.
• Contribute to month-end processes, site-level reviews and prepayments checks.
