Job summary

Witherslack Group is recruiting an experienced Accounts Payable & Banking Manager based at our Group Office in Lupton, Lancaster, on a hybrid basis with three days in the office. You will lead end-to-end AP and Purchase to Pay, manage banking, cash flow, and ensure accurate reporting across AP ageing, accruals and forecasts.

You will drive process improvements, automate where possible, and establish KPIs while overseeing month-end and site-level reviews.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Accounts Payable and Purchase to Pay.
• Experience leading or managing teams in a finance environment.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and process improvement.
• Excellent Excel skills and data reporting ability.
• Experience with cash management, reconciliations and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end AP and Purchase to Pay processes, including invoice processing and approvals.
• Oversee banking, cash management cycle, reconciliation and reporting.
• Drive process improvements, automation and standardisation across the function.
• Manage month-end processes, site-level reviews and relevant checks (capex/prepayments).
• Develop and coach the team, allocate resources and meet key deadlines.
