Job summary

GE Vernova in Stafford, United Kingdom, seeks an exceptional HVDC Programme Manager to lead a defined portfolio of HVDC Reference Solutions. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams across locations, owning planning, governance and delivery to improve reuse, reduce lead times and strengthen competitiveness.

The role requires strong programme leadership, ability to operate in ambiguity, and collaboration with a Technical Lead to drive scalable solutions across tendering and project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience leading complex HVDC engineering programmes.
• Ability to work across a geographically dispersed matrix team.
• Experience in standardisation and reference solutions is advantageous.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of defined HVDC Reference Solutions portfolio across tendering and project execution.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities from planning to completion.
• Manage a geographically dispersed matrix team, set priorities and monitor progress.
• Partner with Technical Leads to combine technical direction with governance and execution.
• Identify risks, dependencies and opportunities and drive delivery momentum.
