About The Company

A well-established maintenance provider renowned for prestigious contracts, currently recruiting for a Shift Leader HVAP on a blue-chip building in Central London. The company promotes internal staff advancement and seeks a strong candidate to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure routine PPM on all M&E plant per schedules and asset lists.
• Complete reactive tasks and proactively identify areas for improvement, including concessionary stores and fabric items.
• Manage sub-contractor work, approvals, and safety during repairs or services.
• Swiftly address plant faults and defects to maintain operational order.
• Maintain adequate spares, provide parts lists, and estimate remedial work times.
• Complete all paperwork for reactive and breakdown works; update CAFM systems promptly.
• Prepare, review, and implement Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks.
• Ensure a safe and healthy working environment, including PPE and uniforms.
• Supervise and monitor sub-contractor works on-site.
• Complete assigned tasks with proper H&S awareness.
• Meet contractual KPIs/SLA requirements.
• Keep Maximo system updated with accurate data for PPM and reactive tickets.
• Produce near miss reports, risk assessments, and site activity records; escalate non-compliance.
• Monitor building environmental conditions via BMS system.
• Complete Shift Reports to standard.

Candidate Requirements

• Client-facing experience involving direct contact with clients or customers.
• Extensive team leadership experience in facilities maintenance.
• Strong building services background.
• Previous Shift Leader/Supervisor experience.
