Salary/Rate:

£56,000 - £57,000 depending on qualifications and experience.

• Qualifications: 18th Edition (7671)
• Previous Shift Leader/Supervisor experience
• HVAP experience beneficial

About the Company:

A well-established maintenance provider renowned for their prestigious contracts, currently recruiting for a Shift Leader HVAP on a blue-chip building in Central London. The company promotes staff internally and seeks a strong candidate to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure routine PPM is carried out on all M&E plant according to site schedules and asset lists.
• Complete reactive tasks and proactively identify areas for improvement, including concessionary stores and fabric items.
• Manage sub-contractors to meet contract requirements; approve work and ensure safety during repairs or services.
• Swiftly address plant faults and defects to maintain operational order.
• Ensure availability of suitable spares, provide parts lists, and estimate timescales for remedial works.
• Complete all paperwork related to reactive and breakdown works promptly and update systems accordingly.
• Prepare, review, and utilize Method Statements and Risk Assessments for safe working practices.
• Maintain a safe and healthy working environment, including wearing PPE and uniforms.
• Supervise and monitor sub-contractor work on-site.
• Ensure assigned tasks are completed properly and in compliance with H&S standards.
• Adhere to contractual KPIs/SLA's.
• Keep maintenance systems like Maximo updated, closing out tickets with accurate data.
• Ensure site activities are documented with near-miss reports, risk assessments, and compliance is maintained.
• Monitor building environmental conditions via BMS and maintain internal conditions.
• Complete Shift Reports to standard.

Candidate Requirements:

• Client-facing experience involving direct interaction with clients or customers.
• Extensive experience leading a team within the facilities maintenance industry.
• Strong building services background.
• Previous experience as a Shift Leader or Supervisor.
