Job summary

Trane Supply in Bolton, UK, is seeking a Service Technician – Unitary to deliver on-site HVAC service across the UK. The role involves diagnosing rooftop units, performing planned maintenance, handling breakdowns, and supporting commissioning tasks on customer sites.

You will travel nationwide, work on an on-call rota, and use diagnostic software and tools to fix units while building strong customer relationships and working with the service desk and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Category 1 F-Gas C&G 2079 Level 2 certification and hold COCN1, CIGA1 & ICPN1.
• Light Commercial knowledge within retail with first-fix experience.
• UK Driver's license and Right to Work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose system problems on service projects and site visits.
• Attend customer sites for PPM, breakdowns, warranty, hire and commissioning workloads.
• Travel across the UK; participate in on-call rota; communicate with customers and teams.
• Use diagnostic software and hand-tools to repair rooftop units.
