Job summary

East London University is seeking a Semi-Static HVAC & Refrigeration maintenance engineer to cover three campuses in Mile End/Whitechapel. The role focuses on visual checks, servicing, and reactive works across VRV/VRF, splits, AHUs, and chillers.

Candidates should have NVQ Level 2 in AC & Refrigeration, FGAS 2709 Cat 1, 5 years post-qualification experience, a valid driving license and be able to pass an enhanced DBS check. A 40–48k salary and weekly or monthly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have diagnostic and repair skills.
• Air conditioning bias with refrigeration skills.
• Must pass an enhanced DBS background check.
• Full clean driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service VRVs, VRFs, splits, multi-splits, AHUs and chillers across 3 sites.
• Perform visual checks, maintenance and reactive works across sites.
