Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd in London is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join a leading HVAC company with a strong regional footprint. The role covers installation, service, maintenance and fault finding across a range of HVAC equipment, with a focus on VRV/VRF, chillers and AHUs.

The ideal candidate has an air conditioning background, NVQ Level 2/3, F-Gas qualification and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in air conditioning (Not Essential).
• Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent.
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas).
• Full driving licence held.
• Experience with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair.
• Live within the M25 and be willing to cover London.

Responsibilities

• Provide installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on HVAC equipment.
• Work with VRV/VRF systems, chillers, AHUs, split units and cold rooms.
• Carry out routine servicing and diagnostic work to minimise downtime.

Job description

HVAC Engineer required in London for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. They offer their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment.

Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

HVAC Engineer Position – Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £45,000 - £50,000 DOE
• Company Van – Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
• Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months’ service – Up to £3,600 tax free
• Overtime paid at 1.5x40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
• On call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed – if called out Travel Paid door to door)

• 22 days’ holidays plus bank holidays this will increase to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.

The HVAC Engineer must have a proven track record with servicing, fault finding and repairing air conditioning systems, namely VRV/VRF’s, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs & Cold Rooms.
