Pertemps is recruiting an HVAC Maintenance Engineer for East London University, covering three closely grouped campuses in East London. The role focuses on HVAC and refrigeration, performing visual checks, servicing and reactive maintenance on VRV/VRF systems, AHUs, chillers (if experienced). A competitive package includes a 40k–48k basic, company van, pension and weekly or monthly payroll.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration is required.
• FGAS 2709 Cat 1 certification is required.
• Pass an enhanced DBS background check.

Aufgaben

• Carry out visual checks, servicing and reactive maintenance on VRVs/VRFs, splits, multi-splits, AHUs and chillers across three university sites.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on HVAC equipment with emphasis on air conditioning and refrigeration.
• Work across rooftops and ladders; travel between Mile End/Whitechapel campuses as required.

HVAC Maintenance Engineer – East London University – Covering 3 sites only - up to 48K

I am currently representing an excellent building services company who need a Semi Static HVAC & Refrigeration maintenance engineer to be operating across 3 campuses at a University in East London.

As a company they are over 150 strong as a group with a mixture of engineers within different disciplines from heating, cooling, mechanical, electrical & General M&E maintenance.

Site cluster:

All sites are within 1 square mile of each other within Mile End/Whitechapel in London.

In this role You will be looking after a cluster of sites carrying out visual checks, maintenance, service and reactive works on:

VRV’s, VRF’s, Splits, Multi Splits, AHU’s, Chillers (if experienced with these)

Ideal Candidate:

Must be NVQ Level 2 Qualified in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration with FGAS 2709 Cat 1 certified as a minimum standard.

- Full Clean Driving License

- Must pass an enhanced DBS background check

- Air Conditioning bias with refrigeration skills

- Proven Diagnostic and repair skills

- Must be physically fit as the role is very active with work on roof top equipment and working from step ladders

- Live within a reasonable commute to Mile End / Stratford area

- PASMA Qualified

- IPAF Qualified

- ACRIB Qualified

- Formal diagnostic or manufacturers training

Package

- £40 to 48k Basic (depending on experience)

- Van, fuel card, uniform, tablet, phone and training provided

- Monday to Friday 40 hours per week with half hour lunch

- Call Out mandatory on 1 in 6 / 7 basis and with £200 per week retainer and paid x1.5 door to door

- SSP

- 28 days holiday per annum
