Job summary

RGB Network is seeking a Semi-Static HVAC & Refrigeration Maintenance Engineer to cover three university sites in East London, spanning Mile End and Stratford. You will perform visual checks, service, maintenance and reactive tasks on VRV/VRF, splits, AHUs and chillers if experienced.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration with FGAS 2709 Cat 1, at least five years post-qualification experience, a clean driving licence and the ability to pass an enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration with FGAS 2709 Cat 1.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Must pass an enhanced DBS background check.
• Air Conditioning bias with refrigeration skills.
• Proven diagnostic and repair skills.
• Must be physically fit; rooftop work and ladders.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, service and reactive works on VRV/VRF, splits, multi-splits, AHUs and chillers (if experienced).
• Support a cluster of three university sites near Mile End/Stratford with regular checks and repairs.

HVAC Maintenance Engineer - East London University - Covering 3 sites only - up to 48K

I am currently representing an excellent building services company who need a Semi Static HVAC & Refrigeration maintenance engineer to be operating across 3 campuses at a University in East London.

As a company they are over 150 strong as a group with a mixture of engineers within different disciplines from heating, cooling, mechanical, electrical & General M&E maintenance.

Site cluster

All sites are within 1 square mile of each other within Mile End/Whitechapel in London.

In this role You will be looking after a cluster of sites carrying out visual checks, maintenance, service and reactive works on:

• VRV's
• VRF's
• Splits
• Multi Splits
• AHU's
• Chillers (if experienced with these)

Ideal Candidate

• Must be NVQ Level 2 Qualified in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration with FGAS 2709 Cat 1 certified as a minimum standard.
• Minium 5 years post qualification experience
• Full Clean Driving License
• Must pass an enhanced DBS background check
• Air Conditioning bias with refrigeration skills
• Proven Diagnostic and repair skills
• Must be physically fit as the role is very active with work on roof top equipment and working from step ladders
• Live within a reasonable commute to Mile End / Stratford area

Desirable

• Chiller experience
• PASMA Qualified
• IPAF Qualified
• ACRIB Qualified
• Formal diagnostic or manufacturers training
• 10 years post qualification experience
• Package

£40 to 48k Basic (depending on experience)

Van, fuel card, uniform, tablet, phone and training provided

Monday to Friday 40 hours per week with half hour lunch

Private use of van allowed

Overtime available

Call Out mandatory on 1 in 6 / 7 basis and with £200 per week retainer and paid x1.5 door to door
