Job summary

Virtual Hire Staffing is seeking an HVAC Engineer for a permanent full-time role in Central London. You will work across commercial and industrial sites, performing service, maintenance and fault finding on AC and refrigeration systems, with roughly a 50/50 split between maintenance and reactive work.

The position offers overtime opportunities and a supportive team environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality work while maintaining strong customer service on-site.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Air Conditioning / Refrigeration.
• F-Gas 2079 Category 1 certification.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
• Experience within commercial and/or industrial environments (preferred).
• Good communication and customer-facing skills.
• Full UK driving licence and own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and fault finding on AC & refrigeration systems across commercial/industrial sites (approx 50/50 maintenance vs reactive).
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently.
• Supporting ventilation and general building services works.
• Delivering a high standard of customer service on-site.
• Working independently while staying connected to a wider engineering team.

Job Summary

Job Role: HVAC Engineer

Location: Central London

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 base / £55,000 - £70,000 OTE (uncapped) inc Vehicle, fuel card, laptop, phone, hand tool allowance.

About the company

This is an opportunity to join a well-established building services specialist with a long term contract in the London area. The company have a long standing contract covering 4/5 sites in London. Whilst this role is mobile, the reality is that you will be semi-static moving around the same sites 80% with 20% other customers.

What will you be doing?
