Job summary

Johnson Controls in the United Kingdom is seeking an Installation Engineer to install split, multi-split, VRV/VRF and DX systems at customer sites, maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high-quality installations.

You will attend client sites, support multiple projects, carry out installation and commissioning of HVAC and refrigeration systems, and travel as required to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in full HVAC installation (pipework, bracketry, cabling).
• F-GAS 2079 Cat 1 qualification.
• Experience with major manufacturers (Daikin, Hitachi, Mitsubishi Electric, Airedale).
• Knowledge of DX, Split VRF/VRV systems, AHUs and ventilation plant.
• Experience commissioning HVAC equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical documents (electrical schemes, piping diagrams).
• Full UK driving license.
• IT skills with LD-Control platform via iPad.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the VRF Installation Team, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Adhere to company and legal requirements, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Prioritise Health & Safety compliance at all times.
• Install HVAC equipment and pipework according to defined processes and timelines.
• Support various projects, including working away when required.

As an Installation Engineer, you will install split, multi-split, VRV/VRF, and DX systems at customer sites. You’ll maintain strong client relationships, demonstrating excellent self-management, communication, and interpersonal skills while delivering high-quality installations and guidance to meet customer needs. You will attend various client sites, supporting multiple projects, carrying out installation and commissioning of air-conditioning units and commercial refrigeration systems. Due to the nature of this role working away will be necessary.

What We Look For
