Job summary

Join Johnson Controls, Inc. as an Installation Engineer in the UK. You’ll install split, multi-split, VRV/VRF and DX systems at customer sites, delivering high-quality installations while building strong customer relationships.

Occasional travel away from home is required across nationwide projects. We offer a competitive salary with overtime and a generous package including company van, pension, life assurance and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven HVAC installation experience, including pipework, cabling and bracketry.
• F-Gas 2079 Category 1 qualification.
• Experience with major manufacturers such as Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Hitachi or Airedale.
• Knowledge of DX, Split, VRF/VRV systems, AHUs and ventilation plant.
• Experience commissioning HVAC equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics and piping diagrams.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good IT skills.
• Self-motivated with a positive, team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Follow company procedures, risk assessments and method statements.
• Maintain high health and safety standards.
• Install HVAC equipment, controls and pipework to specification.
• Support projects nationwide, including occasional work away.

Job description

As an Installation Engineer, you'll install split, multi-split, VRV/VRF and DX systems at customer sites, delivering high-quality installations while building strong customer relationships.

You'll work across a variety of projects, carrying out installations and commissioning of air conditioning and commercial refrigeration equipment. Due to the nature of the role, working away from home will be required.
