Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Mobile HVACR Service Technician to deliver high-quality field service across the North East region. You will service, maintain and commission water chillers, AC and HVAC systems at multiple customer sites, diagnose faults and implement improvements.

A UK driving licence and the ability to travel regionally are essential. The role offers competitive pay, company vehicle, PPE and tools, plus extensive training and career progression within a global leader in smarter

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in HVAC is required, Level 3 desirable.
• F-Gas 2079 Cat 1 certification.
• Proven experience as HVAC/Chiller Service Engineer.
• Strong electrical, controls and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to interpret schematics, piping diagrams and technical data.
• Self-motivated, customer-focused and able to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and commission Water Chillers, AC and HVAC systems.
• Fault-finding and repair across Chillers, DX, Split, VRV/VRF, AHUs and ventilation plant.
• Document clear service reports and provide improvement recommendations.
• Operate safely in line with Zero Harm culture.

We’re now looking for an experienced Mobile HVACR Service Technician to join our field service team covering the North East region.

The Role

You’ll be a trusted technical expert, delivering high‑quality service across multiple customer sites.

• Servicing, maintaining and commissioning Water Chillers, AC and HVAC systems
• Fault‑finding and repair across Chillers, DX, Split, VRV/VRF, AHUs and ventilation plant
• Working with leading manufacturers such as York, Trane, Carrier, Daikin, Hitachi and Mitsubishi Electric
• Completing clear documentation and providing proactive improvement recommendations
• Operating safely at all times, fully aligned with our Zero Harm culture

What We’re Looking For

• NVQ Level 2 in HVAC (Level 3 desirable)
• F‑Gas 2079 Cat 1
• Proven experience as an HVAC/ Chiller Service Engineer
