Job summary

Winner Recruitment is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join a Facilities Management team in the Nottingham area. The role focuses on maintenance and fault finding across VRV air conditioning systems, with a blend of mechanical and electrical responsibilities.

You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, manage safety documentation, and liaise with the client to ensure smooth operation of building services. Overtime and on-call duties apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC maintenance and fault finding across VRV systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical capabilities within facilities maintenance.
• F-Gas qualification and refrigerant handling experience.
• Experience supervising subcontractors and coordinating maintenance tasks.
• Ability to complete risk assessments and safe systems of work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across HVAC plant and equipment.
• Fault find on VRV air conditioning systems and other HVAC equipment.
• Safely handle refrigerants in line with F-Gas requirements.
• Identify and manage risks associated with plant and equipment.
• Support development and implementation of preventative maintenance programmes.
• Monitor environmental conditions via BMS systems.
• Provide mechanical and electrical expertise to the maintenance team.
• Liaise with client regarding reactive and PPM requirements.
• Complete maintenance documentation accurately per legislation.
• Use mobile devices/CAFM to manage and complete works.
