Job summary

WINNER RECRUITMENT (BIRMINGHAM) LTD is recruiting an HVAC Engineer for an FM team in the Nottingham area. The role focuses on HVAC maintenance and fault finding, with a strong emphasis on VRV air conditioning systems. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across plant, equipment and building services.

The position offers overtime, a dedicated on‑call rota, and ongoing training. Help provide mechanical and electrical expertise to the wider maintenance team and ensure safe, compliant

Qualifications

• HVAC maintenance experience is essential.
• F-Gas qualification and refrigerant handling experience required.
• Apprenticeship or equivalent training completed.
• Experience supervising subcontractors is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across HVAC plant and equipment.
• Fault find on VRV air conditioning systems and other HVAC equipment.
• Safely handle refrigerants in line with F‑Gas requirements.
• Identify and manage risks associated with plant and equipment.
• Support the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programmes.
• Monitor and manage environmental conditions through BMS systems.
• Liaise with the client regarding reactive and PPM requirements.
• Complete required maintenance documentation accurately and in compliance with legislation.
