Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer for our client in Yorkshire. You will service, fault-find and repair VRV/VRF systems, splits, chillers and AHUs across a range of sites, with a 40-hour week and travel paid after 30 minutes each way.

The role offers a basic salary of £40,000–£45,000 plus a company van (personal use optional), overtime at 1.5x, a profit-share scheme and a strong pension and holidays package. Applicants must live in Yorkshire.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in air conditioning (optional).
• NVQ Level 2/3 Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent.
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas).
• Full Driving Licence.
• Experience in servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair.
• Live in Yorkshire.

HVAC Engineer required in Yorkshire for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. They offer their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment. Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

HVAC Engineer Position – Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
• Company Van – Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
• Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months’ service – Up to £3,600 tax free
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
• 40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
• On call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed – if called out Travel Paid door to door)
• Pension
• 22 days’ holidays plus bank holidays this will increase to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.

The HVAC Engineer must have a proven track record with servicing, fault finding and repairing air conditioning systems, namely VRV/VRF’s, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs & Cold Rooms.

HVAC Engineer - Position Requirements

• Apprenticeship served within the air conditioning industry (Not Essential)
• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
• Full Driving Licence
