Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an HVAC Engineer to join our Midlands team covering Birmingham/Coventry. The role focuses on installation, service, maintenance and fault finding of HVAC systems across a varied client base.

The successful candidate will have HVAC experience, a valid driving licence and relevant NVQ/F-Gas qualifications. A full package includes a company van, pension and generous holidays.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in air conditioning (not essential).
• Level 2/3 NVQ Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent.
• F-Gas 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants required.
• Full Driving Licence is essential to operate site vehicles.
• Experience with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain, fault-find and repair HVAC equipment.
• Manage customer comfort and equipment reliability during service visits.
• Ensure compliance with safety and site procedures.

HVAC Engineer required in the Midlands for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. They offer their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment.

Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

HVAC Engineer - Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
• Company Van - Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
• Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service - Up to £3,600 tax free
• Overtime
• 40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
• On call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed - if called out Travel Paid door to door)
• Pension
• 22 days' holidays plus bank holidays this will increase to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.

HVAC Engineer - Job Requirements

• Apprenticeship served within the air conditioning industry (Not Essential)
