Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment is seeking an HVAC Engineer in Yorkshire to service, fault-find and repair air conditioning systems including VRV/VRF, chillers, AHUs and cold rooms. A proven track record and full driving licence are preferred for work across client sites in the region.

The role offers a basic salary of £40,000–£45,000 DOE, a company van with optional personal use, a profit share after 12 months, overtime, on-call allowance, pension and generous holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Proven track record servicing, fault finding and repairing air conditioning systems (VRV/VRF, split units, chillers, AHUs & cold rooms).
• NVQ level in AC/Refrig or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on HVAC equipment.
• Work across Yorkshire with client base including major venues and hotels.
• Maintain high standards of safety and compliance.

HVAC Engineer required in Yorkshire for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. They offer their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment. Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

HVAC Engineer Position - Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
• Company Van - Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
• Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service - Up to £3,600 tax free
• Overtime paid at 1.5x40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
• On call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed - if called out Travel Paid door to door)
• Pension
• 22 days' holidays plus bank holidays this will increase to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.

HVAC Engineer - Position Requirements

The HVAC Engineer must have a proven track record with servicing, fault finding and repairing air conditioning systems, namely VRV/VRF's, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs & Cold Rooms.

• Apprenticeship served within the air conditioning industry (Not Essential)
• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
• Full Driving Licence
• Experienced with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair
• Live in the Yorkshire
