Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD are representing a leading HVAC company in Yorkshire, seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer. You will service, fault find, and repair air conditioning systems including VRV/VRF, splits, chillers, AHUs and cold rooms across client sites.

The role offers a basic salary of £40,000 - £45,000 DOE, a company van with optional personal use, a profit share scheme after 12 months, overtime and a 40-hour week with travel paid after 30 minutes each way.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent.
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas) certification required.
• Full driving licence is essential.
• Proven experience with servicing, fault finding and repair.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain HVAC equipment including VRV/VRF, splits, chillers and AHUs.
• Diagnose faults and carry out efficient repairs on-site at client premises.
• Travel to sites; cover Yorkshire region as required.

Position: HVAC Engineer

Location: Yorkshire

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE

HVAC Engineer required in Yorkshire for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. They offer their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment.

Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

HVAC Engineer Position - Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
• Company Van - Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
• Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service - Up to £3,600 tax free
• Overtime
• 40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
• On call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed - if called out Travel Paid door to door)

• 22 days' holidays plus bank holidays this will increase to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.

The HVAC Engineer must have a proven track record with servicing, fault finding and repairing air conditioning systems, namely VRV/VRF's, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs & Cold Rooms.

HVAC Engineer - Position Requirements

• Apprenticeship served within the air conditioning industry (Not Essential)
• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
• Full Driving Licence
