Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. are seeking an HVAC Engineer in Belfast to service, maintain and repair a range of HVAC equipment across a turnkey delivery model.

The role covers VRV/VRF, split units, chillers, AHUs and cold rooms, with a track record of reliability and customer service. The position offers a basic salary in the £47.5k–£52.5k range (DOE), a company van (with optional personal use), pension and a profit share scheme after 12 months’ service, plus overtime and on-call rotation as

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or equivalent in air conditioning is a plus but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
• Fgas Category 1 certification is required/advantageous.
• A full driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of HVAC equipment.
• Work with VRV/VRF systems, split units, chillers, AHUs and cold rooms.
• Contribute to on-site service delivery across multiple sites.

HVAC Engineer - Job Overview

HVAC Engineer required in Belfast for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices across the UK, who are now expanding their services into Northern Ireland. Our client offers their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment. Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

HVAC Engineer Position - Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £47,500 - £52,500 DOE
• Company Van - Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
• Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service
• Overtime paid at 1.5x40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
• On call Rota - 1 in 2 initially, will change as the team grows & develops in Ireland

HVAC Engineer - Position Requirements

• Apprenticeship served within the air conditioning industry (Not Essential)
• NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent (Not Essential)

• Experienced with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of HVAC equipment

The HVAC Engineer must have a proven track record with servicing, fault finding and repairing air conditioning systems, namely VRV/VRF's, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs & Cold Rooms, the engineer will also be expected to be experienced in & confident working on additional commercial mechanical plant.
