Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer for Yorkshire. This role covers servicing, fault finding and repair of VRV/VRF systems, chillers, AHUs and cold rooms within a busy operations network.

You’ll receive a basic salary of £40,000–£45,000 per year plus a company van, overtime at 1.5x and a profit-share scheme after 12 months. 22–30 days holiday, pension, uniform and phone provided.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in air conditioning industry (Not Essential).
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent.
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas).
• Full Driving Licence.
• Experience with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair.
• Live in Yorkshire.

HVAC Engineer required in Yorkshire for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. They offer their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment. The client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

HVAC Engineer Position – Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
• Company Van – Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
• Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months’ service – Up to £3,600 tax free
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
• 40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
• On call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed – if called out Travel Paid door to door)
• Pension
• 22 days’ holidays plus bank holidays this will increase to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.

The HVAC Engineer must have a proven track record with servicing, fault finding and repairing air conditioning systems, namely VRV/VRF’s, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs & Cold Rooms.
