Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an HVAC Engineer in Yorkshire to join a leading HVAC company with 6 regional offices. You will work on servicing, fault finding and repair of VRV/VRF systems, chillers, AHUs and cold rooms.

The role offers a basic salary of 40,000–45,000 DOE, company van, pension, and a generous holiday entitlement, with overtime paid at 1.5x and travel paid after 30 minutes each way.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in air conditioning (not essential)
• NVQ Level 2/3 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
• 2079 F-Gas Safe Handling of Refrigerants
• Full Driving Licence
• Experience with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair
• Live in Yorkshire

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain, fault-find and repair HVAC equipment.
• Work with VRV/VRF, split units, chillers and AHUs to meet client needs.

HVAC Engineer required in Yorkshire for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. They offer their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment.

Their client base consists of long–standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

HVAC Engineer Position – Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary 40,000 – 45,000 DOE
• Company Van – Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
• Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service – Up to 3,600 tax free
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
• 40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
• On call allowance (1 in 4/5, 1,200 guaranteed – if called out Travel Paid door to door)
• Pension
• 22 days' holidays plus bank holidays this will increase to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.

The HVAC Engineer must have a proven track record with servicing, fault finding and repairing air conditioning systems, namely VRV/VRF's, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs & Cold Rooms.

HVAC Engineer – Position Requirements
