Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is actively seeking an HVAC Engineer to work in Yorkshire. The role covers installation, service, maintenance and fault finding across VRV/VRF, split units, chillers, AHUs and cold rooms.

You will join a well-established HVAC company delivering turnkey solutions for a diverse client base. With a basic salary of £40,000–£45,000 DOE, the position includes a company van, pension, overtime, and a generous holiday allowance.

Qualifications

• Proven track record with servicing, fault finding and repair of HVAC systems.
• Experience with VRV/VRF, split units, chillers, AHUs and cold rooms.
• Formal qualifications in air conditioning and F-Gas handling (NVQ Level 2/3, 2079).

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain and repair HVAC equipment as part of turnkey solutions.
• Travel as required; on-call duties 1 in 4/5 with guaranteed travel pay.

HVAC Engineer - Job Overview

HVAC Engineer required in Yorkshire for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. They offer their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment.

Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

HVAC Engineer Position - Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
• Company Van - Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
• Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service - Up to £3,600 tax free
• Overtime paid at 1.5x40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
• On call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed - if called out Travel Paid door to door)

• 22 days' holidays plus bank holidays this will increase to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.

The HVAC Engineer must have a proven track record with servicing, fault finding and repairing air conditioning systems, namely VRV/VRF's, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs & Cold Rooms.

HVAC Engineer - Position Requirements

• Apprenticeship served within the air conditioning industry (Not Essential)
• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
• Full Driving Licence
• Experienced with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair
