Job summary

Fusion People Ltd. is seeking an experienced HVAC/Air Conditioning Engineer to deliver preventive maintenance and repairs on air conditioning, refrigeration and AHU assets across two sites in Chelsea and Sutton.

The role is mobile, full-time hours, 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday, with on-call and occasional weekend cover paid as shift allowances. The ideal candidate will hold F-GAS 2079, NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning, a clean driving licence, and experience with CAFM systems.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or City & Guilds equivalent.
• F-GAS 2079 Category 1 is required.
• Clean driving licence is essential due to mobility between sites.
• Experience with CAFM systems is preferred.
• PASMA/IPAF and 18th Edition are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across air conditioning, refrigeration and AHU assets.
• Complete some mechanical and M&E works alongside HVAC duties.
• Work across two sites with a typical split: Sutton and Chelsea.
• Cover occasional shifts or weekends; on-call rota participation with extra pay.

HVAC / Air Conditioning Engineer

Chelsea and Sutton, London | £20.64 per hour PAYE | Temporary with a view to permanent

We're looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a leading facilities management provider on a mobile contract covering two research sites in Chelsea (SW3) and Sutton.

This is a temporary role starting ASAP and running through to the end of October. For the right person, the role will go into a permanent position.

The role

You'll be delivering planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across air conditioning, refrigeration and AHU assets, with some mechanical and M&E works alongside it. Your week will normally split three days at Sutton and two days at Chelsea.

Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 with an hour for lunch, 40 hours a week. There may be occasional shift, late or weekend cover, which is paid at an additional shift allowance, and the role forms part of the on-call rota.

What you'll need

• F-GAS 2079 Category 1
• NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, or equivalent City and Guilds
• Solid post qualification experience in a similar maintenance role
• A clean driving licence, as the role is mobile between the two sites
• Experience using a CAFM system
• PASMA, IPAF and 18th Edition are all desirable but not essential
