Job summary

Fusion People are seeking an experienced HVAC/Air Conditioning Engineer for a mobile contract covering two research sites in Chelsea and Sutton, London. The role is temporary with a view to permanent and starts ASAP, finishing end of October.

Qualifications

• F–Gas 2079 Category 1 is required.
• NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, or City & Guilds equivalent.
• Post-qualification maintenance experience.
• Clean driving licence; mobility between Chelsea and Sutton sites.
• Experience using a CAFM system.
• PASMA, IPAF and 18th Edition are desirable but not essential.

HVAC / Air Conditioning Engineer

Chelsea and Sutton, London 20.64 per hour PAYE Temporary with a view to permanent

We're looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a leading facilities management provider on a mobile contract covering two research sites in Chelsea (SW3) and Sutton.

This is a temporary role starting ASAP and running through to the end of October. For the right person, the role will go into a permanent position.

The role

You’ll be delivering planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across air conditioning, refrigeration and AHU assets, with some mechanical and M&E works alongside it. Your week will normally split three days at Sutton and two days at Chelsea.

Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 with an hour for lunch, 40 hours a week. There may be occasional shift, late or weekend cover, which is paid at an additional shift allowance, and the role forms part of the on–call rota.

What you'll need

• F–Gas 2079 Category 1
• NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, or equivalent City and Guilds
• Solid post qualification experience in a similar maintenance role
• A clean driving licence, as the role is mobile between the two sites
• Experience using a CAFM system
• PASMA, IPAF and 18th Edition are all desirable but not essential
