Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer for a Belfast-based position. The role covers servicing, fault finding and repair of HVAC systems across VRV/VRF, split units, chillers, AHUs and cold rooms, with a turnkey service offering.

Applicants should be located in Belfast and hold relevant qualifications. Offering a basic salary of £47,500–£52,500 DOE, a company van (personal use optional), profit share after 12 months, overtime at 1.5x and a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in air conditioning (not essential).
• NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent (not essential).
• Fgas Category 1 required.
• Full Driving Licence required.
• Experience with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, fault finding and repair of HVAC equipment including VRV/VRF, split units, chillers, AHUs and cold rooms.
• Work on additional commercial mechanical plant as required.
• Provide on-site maintenance and repair services as part of a turnkey HVAC solution.

HVAC Engineer required in Belfast for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices across the UK, who are now expanding their services into Northern Ireland. Our client offers their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment.

Their client base consists of long–standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

HVAC Engineer Position – Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary 47,500 – 52,500 DOE
• Company Van – Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
• Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
• 40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
• On call Rota – 1 in 2 initially, will change as the team grows & develops in Ireland

HVAC Engineer – Position Requirements

The HVAC Engineer must have a proven track record with servicing, fault finding and repairing air conditioning systems, namely VRV/VRF's, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs & Cold Rooms, the engineer will also be expected to be experienced in & confident working on additional commercial mechanical plant.
