Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an HVAC Engineer for the M3 region. The role involves installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of HVAC equipment for a growing client base.

Salary ranges from £40,000 to £45,000 DOE. Benefits include a company van (with optional personal use), profit share after 12 months, overtime, pension, 22–30 days holiday, and a uniform/phone/PDA package. Applicants should have relevant NVQ or apprenticeship and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in the air conditioning industry (Not Essential)
• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F–Gas)
• Full Driving Licence
• Experienced with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair
• Live within a commutable distance of the M3 region.

Responsibilities

• Installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on HVAC equipment
• Provide turnkey HVAC solutions to clients
• Work as part of a team across multiple HVAC projects

Education

Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent

HVAC Engineer required in the M3 region for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. They offer their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment.

Their client base consists of long–standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

HVAC Engineer – Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary 40,000 – 45,000 DOE
• Company Van – Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
• Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service – Up to 3,600 tax free
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
• 40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
• On call allowance (1 in 4/5, 1,200 guaranteed – if called out Travel Paid door to door)
• Pension
• 22 days' holidays plus bank holidays this will increase to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.
