Job summary

Advance TRS is seeking an MEP Design Manager (HVAC) for a long-term contract in North Acton, London. The role offers hybrid working, with a minimum of 3 days on site and 2 days remote.

The position involves managing HVAC design packages from concept through to completion on a major infrastructure programme, driving approvals and delivery. The ideal candidate has proven HVAC/MEP design management experience, strong technical knowledge, and excellent stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as HVAC/MEP Design Manager or similar role.
• Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems and MEP design delivery.
• Experience delivering MEP packages on major infrastructure projects.
• Ability to manage design approvals, submissions, and certification processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive, ownership-driven approach with delivery focus.
• CSCS White or Black Card preferred; candidates must obtain if needed.

550 - 650 per day (Inside IR35)
Initial contract to March 2027 with strong likelihood of extension

We are currently recruiting for an MEP Design Manager (HVAC) to join a major infrastructure programme delivering complex shaft and head-house fit-out works. This is a long-term opportunity for a proactive individual who can take ownership of MEP design responsibilities and drive packages through to successful completion.

This role is ideal for someone with strong HVAC design management/co-ordination experience who enjoys coordinating multiple stakeholders, overcoming technical challenges, and ensuring design compliance on large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC-focused MEP design packages from concept through to completion.
• Work closely with the MEP Package Manager to drive programme delivery.
• Lead design reviews, approvals, certification processes, and final sign-off.
• Manage HVAC deliverables and resolve technical issues
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and design obligations.

• Ability to manage design approvals, technical submissions, and certification processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and deliver results.
• CSCS White or Black Card preferred.
