Job summary

Advance Training & Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced MEP Design Manager (HVAC) for a long-term contract in North Acton with hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days WFH). Day rate £550–£650 Inside IR35, initial contract to March 2027 with potential extension.

The role involves leading HVAC design packages for a major infrastructure programme, coordinating with stakeholders, and driving deliveries through to completion. Strong HVAC and MEP delivery experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC/MEP Design Manager, Design Coordinator, or similar role.
• Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems and MEP design delivery.
• Experience delivering MEP packages on major infrastructure, rail, construction, or civil engineering projects.
• Ability to manage design approvals, technical submissions, and certification processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and deliver results.
• CSCS White or Black Card preferred.
• Candidates without a current card must be willing and able to obtain one

We are currently recruiting for an MEP Design Manager (HVAC) to join a major infrastructure programme delivering complex shaft and head-house fit-out works. This is a long-term opportunity for a proactive individual who can take ownership of MEP design responsibilities and drive packages through to successful completion.

This role is ideal for someone with strong HVAC design management/co-ordination experience who enjoys coordinating multiple stakeholders, overcoming technical challenges, and ensuring design compliance on large-scale infrastructure projects.
