Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an HVAC Design Manager for a major HS2 infrastructure project based in North Acton, London. The contract role offers a daily rate of £550-£650 with hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH) and an initial term to March 2027 likely to be extended.

You will own HVAC/MEP design packages, lead design reviews, manage technical issues with internal teams and suppliers, and ensure design delivery aligns with project requirements while coordinating with the MEP Package

Qualifications

• Strong MEP/HVAC design experience.
• Experience on major infrastructure or similar complex projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive approach with ownership of design delivery.
• CSCS White or Black Card, or ability to obtain one; MAP booking confirmation may be required.

Rate: £550-£650 per day
IR35: Inside IR35
Location: North Acton, London
Hybrid: Minimum 3 days office / 2 days WFH

Duration: Initially to March 2027, with a strong likelihood of extension

We are recruiting an HVAC Design Manager to join a major HS2 infrastructure project, based at North Acton.

This is an excellent long-term contract opportunity for a proactive MEP professional who can take ownership of HVAC design packages and drive them through design review, approval, certification and final sign-off.

You will work closely with the MEP Package Manager to:
