Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd. seeks an HVAC Mechanical Engineer in the United Kingdom to apply fundamental engineering knowledge and solve straightforward HVAC problems with guidance from colleagues and leadership.

You will perform FEED, studies, and detailed design calculations while building familiarity with company processes and customers. Responsibilities include preparing design calculations, coordinating with other disciplines, and ensuring adherence to McDermott procedures and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred).
• 3-8 years of experience in oil and gas with major contractors or consultants predominantly performing detail design.
• Good English in writing and speaking (B2 level).
• Leadership skills and willingness to coordinate some discipline tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform FEED, studies, and detailed design engineering, analysis, and calculations on complex tasks.
• Prepare clear and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses including design reports and procedures.
• Coordinate with other disciplines the interdisciplinary review of supplier documentation.
• Assist inspections during testing and evaluate test results of equipment.
