Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking an Intermediate/Senior HVAC Design Engineer for their London office. The role centers on developing HVAC and decarbonisation design solutions from concept to construction, with projects often replacing assets in occupied spaces.

You will engage in energy audits, ROI analyses, and costed design proposals, while mentoring graduate and junior engineers in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years' building services/HVAC design experience.
• Proficient with calculations and design software.
• Familiarity with CIBSE, ASHRAE and UK Building Regulations.
• Strong technical writing and reporting ability.
• Experience with multiple system types (VRF, AHUs, Chiller Water).

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed calculations, drawings & specifications.
• Develop layouts, schematics and equipment schedules.
• Contribute to RIBA stage 2-4 deliverables.
• Undertake energy audits and ROI analysis.
• Compile and present costed design proposals to clients.
• Provide guidance to graduate engineers & junior design engineers in the team.

Intermediate/Senior Design Engineer required to be based at our client's London office. The company is a well-established leader in the HVAC sector, operating from six regional offices across the UK and experiencing consistent growth over the past 20 years. They provide a full turnkey service, covering design, installation, servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of a wide range of HVAC systems.In this role, the Design Engineer will be responsible for developing design solutions for HVAC and decarbonisation projects, taking them from initial concept through to construction. Most projects focus on replacing existing assets within occupied environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed calculations, drawings & specifications
• Develop layouts, schematics and equipment schedules
• Contribute to RIBA stage 2-4 deliverables
• Undertake energy audits and ROI analysis
• Compile and present costed design proposals to clients
• Provide guidance to graduate engineers & junior design engineers in the team

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £41,000 - £65,000 DOE
• £445pm to £500pm Car Allowance DOE
