Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to cover the Central Belt in Scotland. The role entails maintenance, fault finding, and servicing of commercial HVAC systems across a varied portfolio of sites.

The ideal candidate will hold F-Gas Category 1, a full UK driving licence, and NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Refrigeration or HVAC, with IPAF/PASMA qualifications or willingness to obtain. Generous benefits and progression opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Essential HVAC/performance experience with commercial air conditioning systems.
• F-Gas Category 1 Certification required.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Refrigeration/AC/HVAC.
• IPAF and PASMA qualifications desired (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems.
• Respond to reactive maintenance call-outs and diagnose faults efficiently.
• Service, repair and maintain air conditioning and ventilation equipment.
• Undertake fault finding and remedial works.
• Inspect equipment to identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
• Build strong relationships with clients through reliable service.
• Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota when required.

Education

F-Gas Category 1 Certification
