Job summary

Powersystems, a leading employee-owned engineering business, operates a Glasgow hub and delivers utility-scale renewable energy projects across the UK. We are hiring an Electrical Site Manager to lead HV electrical works on new installations, supervise teams, and ensure safe, efficient site delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing sites involving complex electrical installations.
• SMSTS training completed.
• Ability to establish rapport quickly and earn respect of site employees.
• Electrical qualifications or experience would be desirable.
• Experience of new installations in the energy sector would be advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all electrical works on new installation sites.
• Work hands-on alongside supervisors to maintain safe and efficient site operations.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings for site teams.
• Support the Installation Team Manager and Operations Manager with day-to-day people management matters on site.
• Work directly with the Project Engineer/Manager to keep delivery on schedule.
• Embed Powersystems' commitment to Health, Safety and Wellbeing within site teams.
