Job summary

Linxon in Glasgow seeks an Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team for EPC HV substation projects across Scotland. You will oversee tendering, project engineering, resource coordination, and interfaces, ensuring compliance with Linxon standards and customer specs.

The role requires strong leadership, expertise in AIS and GIS substation design, and the ability to manage interfaces with civil disciplines, suppliers, and external partners. Travel up to 25% is required.

• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering teams across primary, secondary and civil/structural designs for EPC HV substation projects.
• Plan and manage engineering activities from tendering through As-Built with QA/QC and HSSE compliance.
• Provide technical guidance in customer discussions and with suppliers.
• Monitor project performance with PM, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Planning teams.
