Job summary

Camlin Group in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom seeks a Mechanical Project Engineer to join a skilled team delivering high‑quality, cost‑effective mechanical designs for customer asset requirements. You will translate customer needs into robust engineering solutions and support installation and field activities.

The role requires a 2:1 Mechanical Engineering degree, CAD experience with Solid Edge, and strong communications.

Qualifications

A minimum 2:1 degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Experience using Solid-Edge or similar CAD packages, including creating 2D technical drawings.
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
Ability to design cost effective solutions under time constraints.

Responsibilities

Capture customer and site requirements and translate them into effective engineering solutions.
Deliver cost‑effective mechanical and HV designs in accordance with specifications, timescales and budgets.
Produce accurate engineering drawings, layouts, parts and assembly documentation.
Support installation, commissioning, and field service activities as needed.
Create test procedures, verification tools and maintenance instructions in collaboration with specialists.
Collaborate with customers, partners and internal teams to ensure delivery of projects.
