Qualifications

• A minimum 2:1 degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience using Solid-Edge or similar CAD packages, including creating 2D technical drawings.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, attention to detail and ability to work positively in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within a professional engineering environment.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Customer and site requirements capture – translate requirements into effective engineering solutions.
• Customer-centric project delivery – ensure professional, safe and successful projects meeting expectations.
• Engineering design development – develop and customise mechanical and HV designs in compliance with standards and processes.
• Component specification and selection – support selection aligned with tender requirements and safety standards.
• High-quality engineering documentation – produce detailed drawings and maintain documentation.
• Bespoke mechanical design – design custom components ensuring safety and reliability.
• Design change management – assess and implement design modifications following change processes.
• Installation, commissioning, and field support – assist on-site installation and troubleshooting.
• Testing, verification, and maintenance support – create and maintain test procedures and verification tools.
• Cross-functional collaboration – liaise with customers, partners, and internal teams for delivery.
• Self-management – manage workload and timelines.
