Qualifications

• A minimum 2:1 degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience with CAD software packages (Solid-Edge preferably) including creating 2D technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within a professional engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive technical specification documents and checklists.
• Design bespoke mechanically sound components, including hydraulic flange fittings.
• Collect project requirements and understand customer needs and preferences.
• Serve as a specialised point of contact for customer inquiries regarding HV products.
• Produce accurate and detailed engineering drawings for customer projects.
• Develop and maintain technical specification documents and checklists.
• Ensure all designs meet mechanical integrity and safety standards.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and other departments to meet project requirements.
• Support the implementation of HV monitoring solutions by providing technical expertise.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving customer issues related to project designs.
