Job summary

Jonta Recruitment seeks two experienced HV Fitter Jointers to support our client on projects across the South and Central regions, commutable to Didcot. The role covers installation, maintenance and commissioning of HV cable systems and substation equipment.

The ideal candidate will have HV fitting and jointing experience, with qualifications in HV jointing/termination and City & Guilds Electrical qualifications. EUSR/ECS card advantageous; travel and overtime expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in HV power, utilities, substations.
• HV Cable Jointing qualifications and/or HV Cable Termination training.
• City & Guilds Electrical Qualifications.
• EUSR registration and/or ECS Card.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out HV cable jointing and termination activities.
• Installing substation equipment and associated HV infrastructure.
• Undertaking testing, inspection and maintenance activities.
• Supporting commissioning and energisation works.
• Attending planned maintenance, fault response and project works.
