Jonta M&E is seeking an Electrician with LV/HV experience to join its Didcot-based engineering team. The role involves installing, commissioning and maintaining LV/HV switchgear and related equipment across infrastructure projects.

Candidates should have a relevant electrical qualification, strong fault-finding skills and the ability to read drawings. Travel to project sites will be required, with HV authorisations desirable where applicable.

Qualifications

• Relevant electrical qualification or apprenticeship completed.
• Experience with LV/HV switchgear and distribution equipment.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.

Responsabilités

• Install, assemble, maintain and refurbish LV/HV switchgear and equipment.
• Carry out cable installation, dressing, glanding, termination and jointing.
• Inspect, test, and fault-find within competence level.
• Support commissioning activities and maintain records.
• Travel to project sites as required.
