Job summary

Powersystems UK Ltd is hiring an HV Cable Jointer to install and joint high-voltage cables for renewable energy projects across the UK. You will work on 11kV, 33kV and above, supporting commissioning and energisation on critical power infrastructure.

The role requires an ECS/JIB card and solid experience on construction sites, with travel to project sites and a company vehicle provided. Overtime and training are included as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must hold a JIB-approved ECS card and have experience working safely on construction sites.
• Strong hands-on experience in cable preparation, installation, containment, earthing and HV site works.
• Experience completing cable terminations and joints at 33kV in power, commercial, or industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Undertake cable preparation, installation, terminations and jointing at 11kV, 33kV and above on renewables and electrical infrastructure projects.
• Assist electricians and other trades on larger installations, including earthing works and site activities.
• Act as Installation Lead on relevant projects, keeping Site/Project Manager informed of progress and safe delivery.
