Aylesford School is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee all aspects of the school's HR functions. The HR Manager will provide professional HR services across the school, including:

1. Recruitment, maintenance of the Single Central Record, and pre-employment checks
2. HR administrative processes such as employee paperwork, sickness absence, annual leave, and salary notifications
3. Payroll liaison with the finance team to ensure contractual changes are processed
4. Employee relations, including disciplinary, capability, and grievance procedures
5. Advising and supporting staff, liaising with external HR partners to ensure compliance with employment legislation
6. Line management of the School General Office

Candidates should have experience in recruitment procedures, employment terms and conditions, and possess strong IT skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication skills, discretion, confidentiality, and organizational abilities are essential. Previous experience in a school environment is advantageous. Flexibility and relationship-building skills are crucial to meet the needs of a large school community.

The successful applicant is expected to start in August 2025, with a minimum of 30 hours per week considered. The position is full-time (37 hours/week) but flexible options are available.
