Job Description:

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

The shift pattern for this post is Monday, Tuesday one week and Monday, Tuesday Wednesday the next to support a job share although this is flexible and can be negotiated.

Please note the salary is pro rata for part time hours.

Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership is the largest HSCP in Scotland. It delivers Health and Social Care services to the people of Glasgow and surrounds. Its lead partners are Glasgow City Council and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, delivering all community health and social care services.

A part time opportunity has arisen for a Human Resource Manager to work as part of our established and dynamic HR Team.

Aligned to service Management Teams, HR Managers provide support on both strategic and complex operational issues in a generalist role, providing support for all aspects of HR including; employee engagement, workforce culture; workforce modernisation, performance, planning and resourcing, employee relations, leadership and management support as well as supporting various projects of work across the HSCP and wider GGC Health Board.

Candidates must be educated to degree level (or equivalent), a member of the CIPD and have substantial experience as a generalist HR practitioner within a large complex, unionised environment.
