Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers seeks an experienced HR Manager to lead a Human Resources team on a major UK project based in Birmingham, delivering a comprehensive HR service and building team capability to support business needs.

You will work with senior stakeholders, coach on performance, implement HR policies and processes, and manage budgets to enhance employee engagement and cultivate a robust talent pipeline for current and future challenges.

Qualifications

• Must be able to develop and deliver delivery/project plans.
• Ability to manage stakeholders at senior levels and translate needs into action.
• Read and interpret data in Excel and present visual reports (Power BI/PowerPoint).
• Public sector experience desirable but not essential.

ARM have an exciting opportunity for a HR Manager to be a part of a major project within the UK, Lead a Human Resource team to deliver a comprehensive service to the organisation. Build the capability of the team to deliver high quality customer support.

The Role:

• Ensure systems and process are effective and challenge and continuously improve service delivery.
• Collaborate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders to fully understand the needs and objectives for both the current and future business challenges.
• Coach managers on performance management issues and ensuring delivery of training requirements.
• Maintain a succession plan and talent pipeline. Implement new HR policies, procedures and processes.
• Manage HR budgets and drive employee engagement.

Requirements:

• Strong skills at putting delivery / project plans in place
• Articulate, strong stakeholder management skills at senior level. Working with managers to understand why resourcing needs are not being pushed through
• Able to read and interpret data on excel, create project plans and then present visual reports (PBI/powerpoint)
• Previous public sector experience is desirable not essential.
