We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team in Glasgow as an HR Manager. This role involves collaborating with site leaders to deliver HR solutions for approximately 60 employees in Glasgow. Responsibilities include staffing, compensation, team development, and supporting organizational change initiatives. It offers a rewarding opportunity for individuals interested in strategic, regional, or company-wide issues, alongside managing daily HR operations.

As an HR Manager, you will:

  • Align HR practices with business initiatives,
  • Stay informed about the site’s goals, capabilities, and development priorities,
  • Build relationships with key clients and stakeholders across the sites,
  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints promptly; escalate significant issues to the HR Director Eurasia,
  • Coach managers to enhance employee performance; review performance improvement plans,
  • Collaborate with site leaders to identify skill gaps and upcoming business needs,
  • Participate in meetings with global HR colleagues,
  • Partner with internal Talent Acquisition team on recruitment and onboarding,
  • Oversee HR operations, including payroll and benefits management,
  • Improve existing processes for efficiency, accuracy, and automation,
  • Maintain a network of HR and business contacts for knowledge sharing and key deliverables,
  • Manage the development and implementation of HR policies and programs; contribute to special projects,
  • Promote and implement safety best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration,
  • Over 5 years of related experience, preferably in an international setting,
  • Strong business acumen to translate business needs into HR strategies,
  • Proactive approach to ambiguity, emerging issues, and responsiveness to management and staff,
  • Action-oriented mindset capable of leading change,
  • Ability to influence others respectfully across all organizational levels,
  • Decisiveness and independent leadership skills,
  • Effective conflict management, communication, and leadership presence,
  • Organizational agility, multitasking, deadline management, and confidentiality,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with HR software like ADP is preferred.
